Join us on Thursday, April 9, from 5 to 7 p.m. to celebrate Denver Jazz Fest with a live saxophone performance from Jason Brown, or JB Saxx.
Jason plays several instruments, but the saxophone is his first love. He squeezes every last drop of emotion from each song he plays, and pulls influence from Gospel, R&B, Jazz, and Blues. His music has a message and story that starts with the loss of his father at 13 years old, and shows in the energy and heart he puts into each set.
JB has performed with Kirk Whalum, Earl Thomas, Tonex, and has opened for John Legend, Macy Gray, Gerald Albright, Everette Harp, Pamela Williams and Paul Taylor.
