Welcome to The Creator's Collective, where each month we highlight a local artist and several select pieces throughout our space to celebrate art, community, and creativity.

This month's artist is Kristen Mickulesku, a Denver-based photographer who rediscovered herself on a road trip in 2015, where she brought along a 50 year old camera and a couple rolls of film. Through this lens, she found joy through light leaks, film grain, and discovering the function of a forgotten object. Film has allowed her to find her voice and vision as an artist, and to embrace her desire to connect with her subjects and craft.

She calls this process “meandering”, which to her is a practice of following the natural rhythms of nature and herself. She endeavors to be just like the river: carving out her own place in the world.

We invite you to stop in, stay a while, and explore several of Kristen’s pieces throughout our space, cocktail in hand!
