Based on the critically acclaimed film and featuring a soaring folk rock score performed live on stage, Once is a breathtaking, Tony Award-winning musical that reminds us that the right song, and the right person, can change everything. On the streets of Dublin, a heartbroken Irish songwriter meets a Czech pianist who won’t let him sell his guitar. By the end of one fateful week, their unexpected bond evolves into a powerful but complicated love story that speaks straight to the heart.
Once is a musical drama locally produced by Denver Center Theatre Company and presented by the Denver Center for the Performing Arts. The production runs April 2 through May 2, 2027, at the Wolf Theatre in downtown’s Arts Complex.
