Ball Arena, formerly known as the Pepsi Center, opened on October 1, 1999, on the site of a former rail yard. The arena hosts more 250 events annually and seats up to 20,000 guests . Owned and operated by Kroenke Sports & Entertainment, it serves as the home for the Denver Nuggets and the Colorado Avalanche.
Over the years, Ball Arena has hosted landmark sporting moments, including the Avalanche’s Stanley Cup wins in 2001 and 2022, and the Nuggets’ first NBA championship in 2023.
