Six Frightfully Fun Ways to Spend Halloween 2026 in LoDo

From drag bingo on October 25 to trick-or-treating at Union Station on the 29th to sugar skull decorating at Kachina Cantina on the 30th, there’s so much happening in LoDo this month that you might need a second costume for all the fearsome fun.

1. Poka Luna

Where: Poka Lola Social Club, Dairy Block
When: Daily; happy hour 4 to 6 p.m.
Why: Poka Lola becomes Poka Luna for Halloween—and offers a suitably spooky cocktail list to match. Order from the Hex List—the Shining is made with Stanley Hotel single-barrel bourbon, house bitters, and  Demerara, while the Ghostface combines mezcal, Aperol, fig, and rosemary.

2. Films, Lights & Frights

Where: The Maven Hotel, Dairy Block
When: Through October 31 (subject to availability and blackout dates)
Why: Pick one of five Halloween classics—Hocus Pocus, Scream, Corpse Bride, Practical Magic, or Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. The package includes a pizza from Denver Milk Market and assorted candy.

3. Halloween Drag Bingo Brunches

Where: Osteria Marco and Denver Milk Market
When: Sunday, October 25
Why: Two Sunday brunches, both with Halloween twists. At Osteria Marco, Shirley Delta Blow and friends host Drag-oween, with roughly hourlong shows at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Costumes are encouraged, and brunch comes with bottomless mimosas and prizes. (Reservations are available 30 and 15 minutes before each show.) At Denver Milk Market, Scream Queens bingo starts at 11 a.m. and includes a costume contest: First place wins a $150 gift card, and second place wins $75. Bingo winners will take home prizes, too.

4. Halloween Menus at McGregor Square

Where: The Original and Call Me Pearl, McGregor Square
When: Monday, October 26 to Saturday, October 31
Why: The Original’s Halloween BOO-runch cooks up Witch’s Brew pancakes and a Monster French dip, which you can wash down with a Bloody spiked soda. In the evening, Call Me Pearl’s Bewitched & Bubbly menu pairs spellbinding Halloween cocktails like the Devil’s Matinee with Midnight Catch tuna tacos.

5. BOOnion Station

Where: Denver Union Station
When: Thursday, October 29, 4 to 7 p.m.
Why: Union Station’s 12th annual BOOnion Station kicks off Halloween weekend with the Rocky Mountain Mini Train on the North Plaza, face painting, and DJ Chris spinning tunes. Trick-or-treating will take place at businesses throughout the terminal, and a costume contest will award three grand prizes.

6. Día de los Muertos

Where: Tamayo and Kachina Cantina
When: Tamayo through November 3; Kachina October 29 to November 2
Why: Tamayo’s El Sol celebration is a three-course meal built around the sun and marigolds—Luz de Mar Tiradito, Fuego del Sol short rib, Amanecer pumpkin brûlée—with a glowing ofrenda where guests can add the name of a loved one. At Kachina Cantina, order the Mole Negro Lamb Torta ($22) and leave a photo of a loved one at its ofrenda. On Friday, October 30, from 5 to 7 p.m., Kachina will host Sips & Sugar Skulls ($25), during which you can sip margaritas and decorate handmade sugar skulls, in partnership with Skulls by Adriana.
